Joe Simmons founded BlueSky Studio in 1984. He brings over twenty five years of experience in design and construction to your project team. His versatility and ability to actively participate in all levels of the architectural experience has proven invaluable to our clients in all of our design projects. Inventive solutions, that utilize standard building components, have produced many unique and surprisingly interesting solutions -- a trademark of his work.

Joe is regarded as an expert within the preservation community because of his ability to sensitively and skillfully produce innovative and cost-effective design solutions while reconciling the requirements of the building codes.
